Habitat
Peaty, tree-base hummocks in a diverse, open, wind-tidal woodland dominated by Taxodium distichum. Herbaceous associates include Zizania aquatica, Eleocharis fallax, Carex canescens ssp. disjuncta, Eriocaulon decangulare, and Pogonia ophioglossoides. Rare, s. Coastal Plain.
