Comments
A recent molecular phylogenetic study of the Dysphanieae (Uotila et al. 2021, Taxon 70: 526-551) found that Cycloloma was nested within Dysphania and resulted in the transfer of the formerly monotypic genus.
Habitat
Maritime dunes, sandy fields and waste ground. Rare, Coastal Plain; known only from Northampton County and the cities of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. It's been known from Craney Island (City of Portsmouth) by several collections at ODU, the earliest being in 1973.
