- The current map is incomplete. This species is widespread but certainly overlooked due to its similarity to Cardamine hirsuta or C. pensylvanica. Marhold et al. (2016, PhytoKeys 62: 57-72) demonstrated that Cardamine occulta is the correct name for the Asian plant previously known as Cardamine flexuosa.
- Habitat
- Fields, river and stream banks, and other open, disturbed habitats; especially common in alluvial soils. Infrequent (or infrequently collected) in all provinces.
