- A Eurasian species widely escaped at more northern latitudes and only recently found in Virginia (2009). Curiously, no obvious source of cultivation was noticed from which our plants may have escaped.
- Habitat
- Fencerows and roadbanks. Apparently capable of spreading into a wide variety of open, disturbed sites as well as wooded areas. Potentially very invasive.
