- There is little doubt that this aggressive Asiatic weed is currently under-mapped. Vouchers from established populations are needed.

- Disturbed forests, old fields, clearings, roadsides, and other disturbed, open or shaded habitats. Infrequent to locally common in the Coastal Plain and Piedmont; several recent records from the mountains suggest a rapidly spreading and potentially invasive species.
