Comments
Known from two sites: Little Stony Man Mt. (Shenandoah N.P.) and from a shale cliff along the Jackson River Trail. Other than a few North Carolina and Tennessee populations and an obscure reference to it at Kate's Mtn, West Virginia, this species is more northern.
Habitat
Crevices among greenstone outcrops (Page Co.), and in a clump of Pleopeltis under red cedar on SW-facing shale outcrop (Alleghany Co.)
